The team performs Quality Assurance reviews including process &amp; controls testing, testing the conformity of reported data with reporting instructions and gathering, sampling, understanding, and testing the data to ensure data quality for various regulatory reporting purposes. The team partners closely with the Regulatory Report owners, Technology, Data Governance, and other stakeholders to perform the review and ensure robust governance.How will you make an impact in this role?Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform quality assurance testing of regulatory reports, share findings, and monitor closure</li><li>Perform data gathering for portfolios and reports in scope of testing</li><li>Conduct data analysis, decipher transformation logics and define selection approach for data sampling</li><li>Support process review to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities</li><li>Work closely and coordinate with various regulatory reporting, technology, data governance, service management, teams to ensure the quality assurance over the regulatory reporting processes. </li><li>Support regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with the reporting guidelines issued by regulators</li><li>Ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reporting Governance policy and prepare key metrics</li><li>Prepare presentations for senior management displaying key performance indicators used for regulatory reporting oversight</li><li>Display thought leadership, drive process, and support work/life balance initiatives</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>At least 2+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting/Reporting</li><li>Exhibits organizational skills with the ability to meet/exceed critical deadlines and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously</li><li>A self-starter, proactive team player with a passion to consistently deliver high quality service and exceed customers’ expectations</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills; Verbal, Written </li><li>Excellent relationship building, presentation, and collaboration skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and banking products, is preferred</li><li>Experience in data analytics, data controls and understanding of data transformation logics is a plus</li></ul>Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
