XR Creative Technologist

We are looking for a creative individual to join our Emerging Technology team as a XR Creative Technologist. Responsibilities will include concept development, creating and editing 3D models, texturing, animation, working across platforms including XR, and working on multiple projects. You will work closely with designers and engineers to create various emerging technology projects.
The successful candidate will be flexible, creative, technical, have a strong 3D skillset, and work well independently and within a team.

Who you are

You are a XR Creative Technologist with the skills and passion needed to contribute to our emerging technologies projects including cutting-edge 3D visualizations, avatar creation, 3D environment design, interface design, and concept development. You are interested in designing, developing and testing cross-platform 3D graphics applications, are looking to join a small team working at the forefront of new technology.
 

3D Artist Responsibilities

• Using 3D modeling, texture, mapping, and other techniques to create or graphics, visual effects, and animations.
• Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas with concepts, mock-ups and storyboards.
• Collaborating with other artists/designers and engineers and attending meetings to discuss ongoing projects.
• Receiving feedback from designers, engineers, and stakeholders, and editing your creations based on the comments received.
• Reviewing 3D arts and recommending improvements.
• Troubleshooting any problems that arise during work on a project.
• Meeting with stakeholders, engineers, designers, and team leads to discuss and review projects and deadlines.
• Documenting project work in written and video format and help to share knowledge.

Requirements
 

• Qualification in relevant visual art or technical fields such as computer animation, graphic design, industrial design or art.
• In-depth knowledge of 3D production pipeline and workflow, including modeling, texturing, rendering, and animation.
• Experience in the following software: Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Blender, Unreal, Unity, Spatial design tools, and the ability to learn new graphics technology.
• The ability to create visual representations, concepts and storyboards of ideas and concepts that serve as blueprints for the development of projects, characters, environments, props, and other assets.
• Ability to offer technical, creative, aesthetic, and practical input into decision-making processes.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Coding skills are desirable.
