Through our Global Commercial Services (GCS) division, American Express offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, global payments, currency solutions, and business financing. Within GCS, the Corporate Program Product Management (CPPM) organization owns product capabilities and supports FX and Global Payments.
The Senior Manager Pricing, FX and Global Payments will work closely with the broader FXGP Product team, commercial leadership, Control Management, LOBCO, Marketing, Finance and GCO teams to provide governance, insights and analytics across a number of initiatives. The Pricing Manger will be expected to implement pricing initiatives to improve customer & portfolio performance, as well as performing analyses of customer behavior to provide data-driven insights. This highly analytical and consultative role provides the Pricing Manager with the opportunity to leverage big data and best practices across American Express.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis and identify customer behaviors and pricing patterns that can be turned into actionable insights
- Create, develop, and implement strategies to drive customer behavior
- Build and maintain pricing governance framework
- Ongoing pricing support, monitoring, and performance tracking for the new & existing platforms
- Build strong relationships with business partners to understand business objectives and challenges to enable analytics that address partner needs
- Design processes and work across the business to drive improved data integrity, governance & information management
- Partner with numerous teams to drive innovation, best practices, and global synergies

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, experience with SQL, Python & Tableau
- Experience in pricing, business/financial analysis, or related discipline
- Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex analytics into key insights with linkages to business strategy and objectives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative field and/or 3+ years of industry experience or proven quantitative skill-set
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Cornerstone & other American Express databases is a plus
- Self-starter with ability to solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
- Keen attention to detail with deep quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated capacity to solve problems and enhance reporting
- Ability to monitor and analyze business performance to develop and implement reporting and analytical frameworks
- Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders with demonstrated experience influencing without authority
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
