The Senior Product Analyst works within the Fidelity Workplace Investing Agile Model as a member of the SPS Customer Solutions Chapter. Senior Product Analysts are tasked with collaborating with Product Area Leads, Initiative Leads, and Squad Leads to elicit, document, and translate high-complexity business requirements into Agile feature-level epics. They also drive the effort for developing and executing business acceptance test plans, test strategies, and implementing solutions to ensure the highest level of integrity, accuracy, and overall quality in the final product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product and tech leaders to establish a clear definition of problem statements, facilitate future state solutions, and act as a subject matter expert for product features and capabilities.
  • Define and refine product features by conducting upfront analysis and planning, and communicate findings to leadership, associates, and business partners.
  • Lead discovery for feature/epic definition with Squad Leaders and Scrum Masters to prioritize epics.
  • Ensure analysis artifacts (e.g., use cases and supporting documentation) are updated and available for story execution.
  • Write feature-level epics and facilitate story grooming/refinement sessions to ensure they meet the Definition of Ready.
  • Lead collaboration with key business, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk partners to define product features and monitor trends.
  • Establish stakeholder meetings to include demos of sprint deliverables and impact analysis results.
  • Lead organizational readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle to proactively mitigate risks related to product delivery.
  • Communicate issues and client feedback to the Squad Leader in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert as needed in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for assigned initiatives and features.
  • Perform end-to-end business acceptance testing and ensure the traceability of test cases.
  • Assist with readiness and deployment activities for each release.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CPAB/CSPO certification desirable.
  • 10+ years’ experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or product ownership. People management and financial services experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge (5+ years) of business analyst techniques, such as elicitation, current/future state analysis, flow diagramming, benchmarking, business rules and risk analysis, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
  • Agile mentality; experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tools, Confluence, and Mural preferred.
  • Strong strategic acumen with a customer-driven perspective and a data-driven approach to understanding business needs.
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and motivate colleagues without formal authority.
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Capable of facilitating workshops and speaking publicly to broad audiences.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple competing priorities.
  • Positive demeanor and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the chapter.

The Value You Deliver:

  • Initiate and lead discovery by ensuring an end-to-end focus, working across the domain on issues/opportunities that cut across teams to facilitate prioritization, resourcing, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to drive business growth and customer value by leveraging data and analytics from customers and competitors.
  • Set goals and measure performance through established KPIs and deliver agreed-upon business, technology, and people results.
  • Inspect and evaluate progress and remove impediments.
  • Develop a strong analysis team that enables its members to work successfully within the SPS and WI Agile framework.
