The Auction Lot Operations Associate works closely with the auction team to coordinate vehicles for sale, review work performed, ensure efficient sale line-up and operational flow.  

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Checking vehicles being dropped off at auction and ensuring delivery.
  • Completing all initial vehicle stock-in; manually entering or scanning VIN and adding vehicle identifiers (i.e. color, mileage) into the system.
  • Printing and placing appropriate windshield stickers on the vehicle.
  • Providing check-in forms daily to vehicle registration desk.
  • Walking the lot to ensure correct windshield stickers are on each vehicle and vehicles are in their appropriate lane and lot number. Communicating with Operations and Reconditioning teams to ensure logistics of vehicles to the shops.
  • Moving vehicles to their appropriate location on the auction lot.
  • Demonstrating commitment to workplace safety by following predetermined safety procedures.
  • Providing sale day assistance including lane coordination, locating and moving vehicles, and starting or jumping vehicles.
  • Performing other job related duties as directed by management.

 
What are the requirements for this job?

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Maybe required to stand, walk, reach, stoop and crouch.
  • Organization and follow-up skills.
  • Reasonable computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, or tablet preferred.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
