The Digital Banking PortfolioTeam is seeking an AssociateDigital Portfolio Manager to support the BankingPortfolio management team.We are building a Banking and Payments platform that enables teams to create products at scale and powers digital channels to deliver compelling experiences in a dramatically faster fashion. As an Associate Digital Portfolio Manager, you will deliver end-to-end product portfolio management activities in alignment with strategic vision and roadmap. Evaluate business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment. Assesses cost, risk, inter-dependencies, and impact on existing business activities to appraise investments and align investment with business objectives. Undertake planning activities required to obtain annual funding approvals for product investments. Analyze the product portfolio, perform modeling and simulation to identify any restructuring required to maintain alignment with strategic vision and roadmap.
You will empower the Banking product and engineering teams through the introduction, management, and administration of efficient tools and processes. Design and establish business processes to enable product success. Create and maintain documentation and supporting material to ensure the efficient operations of the product teams. Maintain unified product domain backlogs and roadmaps and tracks initiatives across Product teams to meet timelines and identify risks and dependencies. Lead the product governance process to ensure products meet the needs of all relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts analyses and builds reports in support of effective operations for Digital Product Management, special projects/initiatives, and/or strategic/operational planning activities.
- Schedules & assists withPortfolio alignment, tasks, and ceremonies
- Assists in tracking and visualizing product outcomes with clearly defined metrics and targets
- Sends external communications on behalf of the Portfolio team to increase transparency across stakeholders and business partners
- Facilitates teamwork and alignment between cross-functional teams including engagement, design, analytics, engineering, and experimentation and helps to identify and resolve any risks in the plans
- Leads Annual & Strategic Planning for the Portfolio
- Institutionalizes the knowledge of outcomes and lean portfolio management best practices
- Identifies ways to improve and streamline agile operations
- Fosters collaboration and transparency between product, business, and engineering teams
- Supports the creation of tools and processes to improve the agile team’s ability to reliably execute and relentlessly innovate
- Keeps up to date with industry, competitor, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and latest trends
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Lean Portfolio Management, or Project Management with proven record of accomplishment in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap
- Experience in Banking Portfolio ManagementPaymentsis preferred
- In depth knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies and lean processes
- Proven record of accomplishment managing large, complex products with multiple partners
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally
- Ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical teams in a global organization
- Ability to predict and identify risks/opportunities from interdependencies of product deliveries
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of financial services industry, banking industry, and associated products is a plus
- Bachelor's degreeis highly preferred
Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
